Since childhood, Maia Lee had dreamed of becoming a performer.
She loved attending Simfests in the town of Sunset Valley and meeting the all the singers, acrobats and magicians. But she loved magic best. She never ceased to be amazed by all the tricks they performed.
She loved meeting the performers after Simfests, venue shows and street performances, and trying to figure out the secrets behind the magic tricks.
As a lover of all things mystical, she longed to become a magician and share the wonder of illusions with everyone she met.
Maia had been an only child, and since her parents had passed away when she was young, she had no reason to remain in Sunset Valley. Sure, there were some great performers here, but she decided it might be easier to live her dream in a town that had more venues to perform in. Maybe she would even meet that special someone to share her life with and have a big family. Having a half dozen or so kids had a magical appeal of its own. So when she came of age, Maia packed her belongings and moved to Starlight Shores to pursue her dream.
Half a dozen!?!? lol A magician, sounds exciting!!

ReplyDeleteIKR?! Ah well, at the time Maia's goals were much more modest--having a career that she loved involving magic, and eventually finding that special someone and having a family with him. Obviously her life took a far different turn, but those "simple" things are what she craves most and hopes to have in the end. :)
