38 - A Season To Celebrate

Autumn quickly faded into winter.  When the pond in the backyard froze over, the Lee family decorated their home in holiday lights.

Then the first snowfall arrived!

During the brisk winter days, the kids made snowmen, snow angels and igloos. 

They had snowball fights in the driveway and skated on the pond.

And in the evenings, they cozied up near the fireplaces with books or played chess.

Maia and Hamilton spent some time curled up beneath the warm blankets for some of that undercover work.

Lavender and the triplets Aiden, Ashton and Addison aged up to toddlers.

Lavender crawled around, leaving little trails of flowers behind her.

Aiden learned to wave. Or maybe he was just fanning the air after learning to potty!

Ashton always squealed happily while holding his bottle.

Addison loves her IF.

Maia got to work teaching them all their toddler skills right away.  Toddler training was a lot of work! 

But they were adorable to watch.

All the kids played with and sang to their IF’s; Lavender with Vanilla, Aiden with Skittles, Ashton with Gumdrop and Addison with Jelly Bean. ♥ ♥ ♥

Peek, baby!

The winter holidays were quickly approaching.  The Lee family had put up a Christmas tree and hung mistletoe.  

Maia made sure she got herself a kiss!

It was also time for the winter formal for all the teens.

Seth went with Tarah Steele.

Bobo asked Candy Goth, although her being a ghost seemed to prevent her from attending.

Orin went with Lily Langerak and he was voted Prom King.

Shea announced she had beaten out the mean girl and the popular girl for the title of Prom Queen. She had attended with Brandon Goddard.

Rags went with Astrid Shukepoj.

And Fluffs went with Zane Jensen.

On Snowflake Day, Maia hosted a gift-giving party for her family and friends. Everyone had a good time and was excited to receive some great presents.

And a few weeks later, Seth and Bobo had their birthdays.

Happy birthday, Bobo!

Seth and Bobo graduated early, at winter semester. They both graduated with Highest Honors, and Seth was named Class Valedictorian.

When it was time for them to move out, Maia hugged her first Moonlight Falls baby goodbye.  She was so proud of how far Seth had come in life already, but she knew he was going further still.  He has gotten a job working at the hospital, and ultimately he plans to go to university to become a doctor, just like he had first dreamed in Al Simhara after his mummy curse was removed. 

Since having Candy as a girlfriend, Bobo came to understand the difficulties that arise with being a ghost. He has decided to become a scientist who assists in giving ghosts the opportunity to return to a mortal life if they so choose, and hopes to start a new life with Candy as his living wife someday.

And speaking of new life, though it had taken several months, Hamilton and Maia’s "undercover" efforts had finally paid off.
